even more roughs

Phil told me to draw the other arm and make the face read better.

the pose looks very stiff

more roughs

Phil wanted more fluidity and better posing for the character

roughs

Phil told me the rough has more appeal to it. -> I need to try to keep it simple, instead of complicating the form and muddling it with unnecessary lines.

001

Phil's advice : simplify the face, try to make the nose work better, and draw the glasses in perspective

with background

Phil's advice : The king's expression is better on the original design. Incorporate more line of action and design the background so it works with the characters.

1. The wall  is seriously working against the characters making them hard to read.
2. The bushes are to even in size and should be laid out better.

I really liked how he explained it, he said something like "Design backgrounds in the same way as the characters! They're just as important! Dammit!"

costumes to show alternate personalities

I have to fix the stuff that Phil told me to do. More varied proportions and more attention to the hands, tangents around the vampire's head, the tailor's props and his pants that don't work.

character design assignment (people at a bus stop)

MJ told me to try to add in gray scale tones, he said it should read much better.
I will do it later today. :)
I was way too scared... :( barely noticeable! but I guess its a bit better still.
You probably won't be reading this, but thank you MJ! :)
